Melee Lee is a lifelong resident of the “Greater Boston Area” currently based in Cambridge. After accidentally discovering a love of theatre in high school, they stage managed and held various tech roles through high school and college. As a reintroduction to theater, Melee previously served with ATB as Production Stage Manager for their fall 2015 residency at Aeronaut Brewing Company, while performing various technical roles and stage managing the shows Full Term and Drunk Enough To Say I Love You?. They went on to stage manage ATB’s remount of DETSILY? at Brandeis University in 2016.
Melee is a believer that an underrated form of leadership lies in space holding, capacity checking, and self care management, whether organizing a direct action or a production for the stage. They were previously involved with EMW Bookstore, a fellow with Life Together, and are newly an worker/owner of a paint-your-own pottery shop that you can read about here. Melee is excited to once again be a part of ATB and to help foster community with theater.
